This site is a search engine for scientific articles, it has a search engine and a filter tab where you can choose the language, the year of the article, the number of times it has been cited and many other things.
 I visit this website every time I need to do a job and look for a bibliography related to my research topic, so it has been with me throughout the year in all the work I have done.
I like this site because it is very easy to use and has the vast majority of articles that I have searched in it. In addition, the fact of having access to a search portal related to science and the academic world makes me feel good, I like to discover that the topics that occur to me in the works are also of interest to many social scientists. In addition, I am very fond of him, since he has helped me in all the jobs and has never failed me.

Hello again! Today I will talk about one of my greatest passions: music. For me music represents everything, I listen to music when I work, when I study, when I travel and sometimes I even listen to music to sleep. I believe that my love for music is due to the upbringing that my parents gave me, they listened to all kinds of music and they took me to listen to live music. Many of the bands that I hear today I met thanks to my parents and thanks to my uncle was a guitarist of a band when I was little. Genres such as ska, funk and rock I met from a very young and to this day are my favorites. On the other hand, throughout my life I have been learning new musical genres thanks to my friends and people with whom I have talked. For example, cumbia and heavy metal I met them because my group of school friends listened to these musical genres. In my opinion, all music has something to contribute to the world, whether to dance, sing, relax or go to parties, all music is good!

My Obsessions

Hello again! Today I will tell you about my latest obsession. Lately I find myself very addicted to the "Explore" section of Spotify, in which I spend most of my time discovering music from different styles and singers I had never heard before. Lately I have been able to meet a large number of Latin American artists such as Caifanes, La Vida Boheme, Babasónicos and Canserbero, a Venezuelan rapper who died in 2015. I especially liked the latter and I have been listening to him during the last two weeks.

I have researched a lot about the biography and the history of Canserbero, and I have been informed of several events in his life that motivated him to write his songs, such as the death of his mother and the murder of his brother by gang members. Maybe that's why I enjoy his music so much, because almost all his songs are full of feelings and have the ability to touch my heart and move me. In particular, the album "Muerte" I liked a lot and I'm already learning his songs so many times that I've heard it.

My Favourite Gadget

Like the majority of people, the gadget I most use is my phone. For me is the best phone ever, because I purchased it after a lot of work and this phone have everything I need. I use my phone every day and every time, for my relax time and when I have to study my smartphone support me.

It is an android smartphone, with a lot of memory and a very strong processor, so I can have any social network I want, every apps of the university and any app that can help me in my life. But the most important of my phone, is the lot of music I have in there.

Besides the app Spotify, I have my own collection of discography of all my favorite bands and artists. So I listen music all time, I can´t imagine my life without music, maybe without my smartphone I will fine, but never without the music.   

Why I chose this program

When I was a child, I wanted to be mechanic or racing driver because my dad always loved the cars and he took me to the car exhibit hall in Santiago and I accompanied him to the mechanical workshops.

At the moment of applying to university, I was very interested in Psychology, Political Science and History. But in the end, I tried to condense all my tastes into a university career and sociology seemed quite complete.

This is my first year in the university, and until now I like my decision, in spite of the difficult of many courses, the teachers, my friends and contains are really great and makes me feel good in this career.

In the future, I would like to work as investigator in another country, maybe in Asia or India.

Autobiography

Hello, my name is Matías Enrique Cachaña Jiménez. I was born in Santiago, in November 28 of 1999 and I live with my little sister and my mom. I have one cat named Juancho and two dogs, Rocko and Luna.

I studied in the Hellen´s College of Conchalí, after that I go to the Instituto Nacional and now I am studying Sociology in the University of Chile.

My hobbies are listen music, ride a bike, watch movies and series and play with my pets. 

My favorite genders of music are Rock, Ska, Cumbia, Reggae and Electronic Dance Music. 

My frustrated dream is to be a racing driver, because since I was a kid I like the cars and the motor world.
